Purdue University offers a full curriculum of pilot training up to and include an Air Transport rating. They operated an airline called Purdue Airlines which ceased operations in 1972. They operated under Part 135 and flew the DC3, DC-6 and DC-7 in non-scheduled operations. They operated Hugh Hefners DC-9 "Black Bunny". The Captain were the instructors and the students were First Officers.
